1. Project Overview

The company has 4 smelting furnaces in its factory, two of which are for smelting aluminum parts and two for smelting iron. The original wet dust collectors are now added with 4 bag dust collectors (without considering explosion-proof) to the original dust removal system in accordance with environmental protection requirements. The designed dust emission concentration is <10mg/Nm³.

2. Dust removal system design

The dust is captured by the negative pressure generated by the exhaust system. The dust enters the main exhaust duct through the air duct and enters the dust collector. After filtration and separation by the dust collector, the dust falls into the dust accumulation chamber after separation. The purified clean air is directly discharged into the atmosphere. The filtered dust falls into the dust hopper and is discharged into the ash bucket through the discharge valve.

3. Equipment selection

During smelting, a large amount of dry metal oxide dust such as aluminum oxide and iron dust is generated, and the flue gas temperature is 420°C. According to the particle size distribution ratio of the dust generated by the smelting furnace, the dust removal system uses GrassGreen FCT baghouse dust collectors .

The bag dust collector has the following features:

l It adopts surface filtration technology, can handle high-concentration mixed airflow, the core will not be blocked, the cleaning efficiency is high, and it can run at low resistance for a long time.

l The cloth bags are installed vertically, which has high cleaning efficiency and prevents dust from accumulating easily.

l Fluorometh + PTFE membrane technology can enhance the air permeability of the filter material surface, so that the dust removal efficiency reaches more than 99.5% while preventing a certain amount of moisture.

l It adopts advanced PLC programmable controller, automatic spraying and cleaning by timing or pressure difference, and implements automatic operation, with low gas consumption, thorough cleaning and stable performance.

l It can be repaired online, and the bag can be replaced in different rooms without affecting the operation of the main engine.
