A Mobile Welding Fume Extractor, or fume cart, is a portable device designed to remove harmful fumes and particulate matter generated during welding processes. These extractors typically feature a flexible arm or hose that can be positioned near the welding area to capture fumes at the source. The device filters the captured air to remove contaminants, for a safer and cleaner working environment. Mobile units are equipped with wheels or casters, allowing easy relocation to different workshop areas as needed.

Technical principle

a. Dust-laden gas enters the dust collector under negative pressure. When the airflow penetrates the filter cartridge, the dust is blocked by the filter cartridge and adsorbed on the outer surface of the filter cartridge. The clean gas after filtration penetrates the filter cartridge into the upper box and is discharged through the fan.

b. As the dust collector continues to filter, the dust on the surface of the dust collector will accumulate thicker and thicker, and the resistance of the dust collector will increase. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly remove the dust on the surface of the filter, that is, clean the dust. The dust collector uses compressed air for pulse jet cleaning.
